واستشهدت الصحيفة بمقولة موشية دايان القائد العسكرى الإسرائيلى السابق عندما أكد أن المؤسسة العسكرية دائما ما تكون تحت تصرف القادة السياسيين قائلا: "أنه يجب كبح الأحصنة السريعة وهمز البغال الكسولة"، لافتا الى أنه لا يشير فقط إلى جنرالاته فى الجيش إلا أنه عرف معمول به فى العالم.
وتقول الصحيفة إنه من النادر أن نجد قادة الجيوش أكثر عقلانية من القادة السياسيين إذ يجب عليهم أن يكونوا أكثر حذرا ممن هم فى القيادة السياسية ولا يندفعوا خلفهم.
وذكرت الصحيفة أن إقتناع كل من رئيس أركان الجيش الإسرائيلى ورئيس الموساد ورئيس الشاباك ورئيس هيئة الطاقة الذرية بخطورة الحرب ضد إيران لا يعنى لرئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو ووزير دفاعة إيهود باراك شيئا فهم لايدركون خطورة سقوط العديد من الضحايا جراء قناعتهم هذه، كما أن الحديث عن إيران يختلف عن الحديث عن فلسطين.
وكشفت الصحيفة عما دار فى اجتماع نتنياهو السرى مع عدد من القادة الإسرائيليين إضافة إلى الحاخام عوفاديا يوسف التى وصفته بالمتطرف الذى لم يوافق على شن حرب على إيران ولم يكن يصل الى ذهنه اقتناع نتنياهو بهذة الفكرة، تتعجب الصحيفه من موقف نتنياهو وباراك من الحرب على إيران.
ودعت الصحيفة إلى الإقتداء بالتجربة التونسية التي فاز مؤخرا بالسلطة بها حزب ديني ولكنه سيشكل حكومة إئتلافية، فضلا عن تأكيداته المستمرة على عدم السيطرة على المناصب العليا فى الحكومه الجديدة، مستنكرة سيطرة الحركات الراديكالية التبشيرية على الكنيست الاسرائيلي بنسبة 45%  داعية إلى تشكيل حكومة ائتلافية وطنية لايسيطر عليها فكر واحد.
وفى تقرير منفصل دعت الصحيفة القادة الإسرائيليين ضرورة فك الحصار عن قطاع عزة لأن فرض العزلة على غزة وحماس يزيد تدريجيا من عزلة إسرائيل الدولية.

كانت المظاهرة قد وصلت إلى محكمة الاستئناف وهناك احتفل المتظاهرون بعيد ميلاد المشير طنطاوي علي طريقتهم الخاصة وذلك بغناء "يالا حالا بالا نطرد المشير..هيكون عيد ميلاده الليلة أسود الأعياد" .

وردد المتظاهرون الذين يقدر عددهم بـ 5000 فرد عدة هتافات ضد المجلس العسكري منها "يسقط يسقط حكم العسكر" ،"الشعب يريد إسقاط المشير"، "لا للمحاكمات العسكرية"، "اتكلم متخافشي المجلس لازم يمشي"، "يا مشير يا مشير أنا مش حاسس بالتغيير"، "ايوه بنهتف ضد العسكر احنا الشعب الخط الأحمر" وذلك في ظل عدم تواجد أمني في المنطقة .

وانضم للمظاهرة محمد أبو الغار "رئيس الحزب المصري الديمقراطي الاجتماعي" والصحفي سعد هجرس والناشط كمال خليل ،والمهندس ممدوح حمزة، والكاتبة نور الهدى زكي ،والشاعر مروان البرغوثي، وعدد كبير من الألتراس.

كان قد تظاهر العشرات من النشطاء في ميدان طلعت حرب بوسط البلد ضد تحويل المدنيين للمحاكمات العسكرية ، مطالبين بالإفراج عن كافة المدنيين الذين صدرت ضدهم أحكام عسكرية ، وانضمت للمظاهرة مسيرة قادمة من شارع 26 يوليو  ومن عدة جهات أخري مما أدى إلى صعوبة في الحركة المرورية وشبه إغلاق للميدان .

إسرائيل تجبر الفلسطينيين على الخروج من القدس الشرقية

قالت منظمة أهلية إسرائيلية بارزة يوم الاثنين إن إسرائيل تجبر الفلسطينيين على الخروج من القدس الشرقية في اطار سياسة متعمدة قد تشكل جريمة حرب وهي تهمة رفضها رئيس بلدية القدس.

وقدمت اللجنة الإسرائيلية لمناهضة هدم المنازل نتائجها للامم المتحدة وطالبت بتحقيق قائلة ان إسرائيل استهدفت الفلسطينيين بهدم المنازل والغاء الاقامة والتضييق على ظروف معيشتهم.

وقال مايكل سفارد -وهو محام ساعد في وضع تقرير من 73 صفحة عن القضية- "نحن نشهد عملية للتهجير العرقي. اسرائيل تنتهك بوضوح وعلى نحو خطير القانون الدولي ...والدافع سكاني."

ورفض ستيفان ميلر -وهو متحدث باسم رئيس بلدية القدس نير بركات- التقرير. وقال في بيان انه قائم على "حقائق مضللة واكاذيب فاضحة وتلفيق سياسي بشأن القدس لذلك انا متأكد ان الامم المتحدة ستستمتع به."

استولت إسرائيل على القدس الشرقية بما في ذلك المدينة القديمة في حرب عام 1967. وضمت في وقت لاحق المنطقة وقرى الضفة الغربية المحيطة الى بلدية القدس التي اعلنت انها العاصمة الابدية والموحدة لاسرائيل.

ويريد الفلسطينيون القدس الشرقية عاصمة لدولتهم المستقبلية ولم يعترف زعماء العالم بالضم.

ويوجد نحو 300 الف ساكن فلسطيني في القدس الشرقية يمثلون نحو 35 في المئة من اجمالي سكان المدينة لكن اللجنة الاسرائيلية لمناهضة هدم المنازل قالت انه منذ سيطرة اسرائيل على المناطق ذات الاغلبية العربية منعت تطورها بشكل منهجي.

وخصص ثلث الارض في القدس الشرقية لانشاء الاحياء اليهودية في حين ان تسعة بالمئة فقط من الارض المتبقية متاحة قانونا للاسكان. وجرى البناء على كل هذه الاراضي الامر الذي يجعل التوسع مستحيلا.

وقالت المنظمة الاسرائيلية انه من المستحيل فعليا على الفلسطينيين الحصول على تراخيص بناء منازل لاسرهم التي تزداد عددا.

وقالت اميلي شايفر التى وضعت التقرير "ليس امامهم خيار اخرى سوى مغادرة القدس الشرقية او البناء بشكل غير قانوني او العيش في اوضاع مروعة ومكتظة."

ومن يغادر يفقد حقوق الاقامة اذا غاب لسبع سنوات او اكثر ولا يمكنه العودة. واضافت اللجنة الاسرائيلية لمناهضة هدم المنازل ان نحو 14 الف فلسطيني فقدوا اقامتهم بين عامي 1967 و 2010 ونصف ذلك العدد بعد عام 2006.

وتمنح الاقامة صاحبها الرعاية الصحية الاسرائيلية ومزايا التأمين الوطني. اما الذين يبنون المنازل بشكل غير قانوني فيعيشون في خوف من هدم ممتلكاتهم ويواجهون غرامات باهظة.

وهدمت إسرائيل اكثر من الفي منزل في القدس الشرقية منذ عام 1967 بينها 771 بين 2000 و 2011. وينتظر 1500 الف امر هدم اخرى التنفيذ.

وقال سفارد "الفلسطينيون سيرحلون فعليا من القدس الشرقية ليس باستخدام بنادق او شاحنات بل بعدم السماح لهم بان يعيشوا حياة كريمة وطبيعية."

وقالت اللجنة الاسرائيلية لمناهضة هدم المنازل انه ما دام ضم القدس الشرقية لم يحظ باعتراف دولي فينبغي اعتبار الفلسطينيين الذين يعيشون هناك شعبا تحت الاحتلال. وبناء على ذلك لا يحق لاسرائيل تجريدهم من الاقامة او هدم منازلهم.

واضاف سفارد "هناك اشتباه بان جريمة حرب تقع وهذه سبب وجوب اجراء تحقيق."

وقال بيان من مكتب رئيس بلدية اسرائيل ان القدس الشرقية عانت من نقص الاستثمارات في الماضي لكن ذلك الوضع تغير الآن.

وقال إن بركات "استثمر حجما من الموارد والجهود ما لم يسبق له مثيل لتحسين نوعية حياة السكان المسلمين في القدس بعد عقود من اهمال الادارات السابقة."

واضاف ميلر المتحدث باسم رئيس البلدية ان بركات "ملتزم بتحسين نوعية حياة السكان المسلمين بالقدس وسيواصل فعل ذلك."

ورفضت الاغلبية العظمى من فلسطينيي القدس الشرقية عروضا بالحصول على الجنسية الاسرائيلية في اعقاب حرب 1967 خشية ان يضعف ذلك المطالب الفلسطينية بالسيادة على المنطقة لكن اغلبهم معه تراخيص اقامة إسرائيلية.
